Cross-platform offline face recognition SDK

Face intelligence.
On your device.

Detect, capture, check liveness, verify and search.
Offline face capabilities for your cross-platform apps.

No cloud recognition service required. Your app manages its own business data.

WHY HELLOFACE

Cross-platform.
Straightforward integration.

HelloFace brings offline face recognition to Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows and Linux. Reference demos, public APIs and platform-specific build configuration help teams integrate the SDK into their products.

Five platforms, one approach

Mobile, desktop and embedded deployment environments are covered with dedicated demos and integration guides.

Offline. Under your control.

Core capabilities do not rely on a cloud recognition service. Your app defines how images, features and face databases are stored and protected.

Clear examples for every flow

Camera, liveness, verification, search and face-library examples make full call flows and edge cases easier to trace.

Ready for device validation

Camera, signing, image quality, CPU architecture and OS requirements are explicit, reducing surprises after the demo stage.

CORE CAPABILITIES

From a frame to a face workflow

Compose detection, liveness, verification and search from input frames to a local face library.

Face detection & capture

Locate faces in images or camera frames and produce quality-controlled results for downstream flows.

Face liveness detection

Combine passive or action liveness in supported platform flows to help mitigate photo and video spoofing risks.

1:1 face verification

Compare a current capture with an authorized reference face locally for identity verification flows.

1:N / M:N face search

Run single- or multi-face search against a local database, with demos for enrollment, queries, import and export.

PLATFORMS & START

Choose a platform, then validate in three steps

Open the target-platform demo, confirm the runtime environment, then integrate the SDK.

  1. 01

    Confirm the environment

Check the OS, architecture, tools and camera.

  2. 02

    Run the demo

Validate the core flows on a physical device.

  3. 03

    Integrate the SDK

Connect the public API to your product architecture.

HELLOFACE / FAQ

Before you integrate

Understand the offline face recognition SDK, platform support and deployment requirements before integrating HelloFace.

What is HelloFace, and which platforms does it support?

HelloFace is a cross-platform offline face recognition SDK for Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows and Linux. It provides face detection, capture, liveness detection, 1:1 verification and 1:N/M:N search. Platform demos illustrate SDK integration; you can customize your own application UI.

Does face recognition need a cloud service or upload face data?

Core face processing runs on the device without a cloud recognition service. Your application controls how images, face templates and local databases are stored, protected and deleted. Offline processing does not replace the application's data protection responsibilities. See the data processing and privacy notes.

How does 1:1 verification differ from 1:N/M:N face search?

1:1 verification compares a current face with a specified reference face and returns similarity. 1:N search finds matches for one face in a local face database; M:N search handles multiple query faces. Choose the flow that fits identity verification or local face-library lookup.

What usage limits and device requirements should I check?

The SDK is in Beta; keep it up to date. The current models do not support face recognition for children under 12 and must not be used in financial scenarios. Face search needs clear camera images; outdoor cameras require a wide dynamic range greater than 100 dB. Windows/Linux desktop camera flows await physical-camera validation, and mobile apps need their own signing configuration. Validate the target device against the usage notes.

How do I start integrating HelloFace?

Choose your target platform, check its OS, CPU architecture, toolchain and camera requirements, run the corresponding demo, then integrate the public API into your own application. Find platform entry points and full documentation in the official HelloFace repository.
